A series of reports on the 1968 Grenoble Olympic Games produced by France 3 Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes using archives from the National Audiovisual Institute (INA).
For Grenoble, the 1968 Winter Olympics marked a second significant phase of urban transformation, following the major development projects undertaken between the two world wars. This event accelerated the modernisation of transport infrastructure, development of new neighbourhoods and construction of landmark facilities.
These works, designed both to meet the event's requirements and to support the city's long-term growth, profoundly transformed Grenoble's urban layout.
